Attacks on Gaza Have Resumed The latest wave of bombings comes after over two weeks of no aid coming in. The scale of destruction is unprecedented, leaving over 400 dead and over 600 injured. IRUSA is supporting emergency response efforts at Al-Ahli Hospital where many of the injured were taken. We’re also distributing pharmaceuticals and medical supplies to hospitals in the region that are trying to treat the critically injured with low stocks of supplies. With aid brought in during the ceasefire, we’re making sure those fasting during the month of Ramadan have enough to eat and have distributed over 100,000 hot family meals. While issues related to the delivery of humanitarian aid are ongoing, IRUSA partners are continuing to work on the following interventions: - Distribution of millions of hot meals to displaced families - Provision of millions of liters of clean water - Delivery of critical medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, burn care, specialized surgeries, and more to healthcare facilities - Access to mobile medical clinics for internally displaced people (IDPs) - Access to psychosocial support for children and adults including self-care workshops, mind-body skills groups, counseling sessions, and recreational activities - Temporary shelter for displaced individuals and families
